High quality Thunderbolt 3 Double USB-C cable

As soon as I speak Thunderbolt 3 data line The first impression is fast, not only transmitting speed can reach 40Gbps, but also support 100W power transmission. Although the equipment with lightning interface is not very popular at present, for a person pursuing speed, it is essential to start a lightning 3 wire rod.

Recently, the charging head net has arrived at a Thunderbolt 3 (thunderbolt 3) double USB-C cable. This line is very stout and sturdy, and the charging speed and data transmission ability are also very good. The following is the Xiaobian's dismantling of this Thunderbolt 3 (thunderbolt 3) double USB-C cable.

1. Thunderbolt 3 (thunder 3) double USB-C cable appearance.

The two lines of the 3 line of lightning are USB Tpye-C interface, the cable is black and the plastic glue is outsourced, and the whole line is very durable.

The thunder and lightning 3 line length is about 60cm, the line is thick and thick, which is thicker than the ordinary data line.

The two USB-C interfaces are frosted to increase friction and facilitate insertion and removal, and have Thunderbolt 3 (lightning 3) double USB-C cable logo.

At the junction of wire body and USB-C interface, the bending resistance is applied, and the silk screen has the word "100W".

The other end is the same design.

USB-C interface close-up, which is a total of 10 sets of symmetrical stitches.

Using ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM001C detection, it shows that the cable has E-Marker chip, the power transmission capability is 20V/5A, and the data transmission capability is USB3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps).

The actual charging test, using the 100W charger to charge the customized 100W mobile power supply, shows that the charging voltage is 18.9V, the current is 5.0A, and the charging power reaches 95W. The test shows that the cable supports 100W charging and the cable is working normally without charging any abnormal condition.

Two, Thunderbolt 3 (thunderbolt 3) double USB-C cable dismantling

Cut the plastic rubber from the outer layer with a layer of copper foil inside.

Two section metal steel sleeve, there are many small solder joints on the edge of the steel shell, the back is also consistent with the front, very strong.

Remove the steel sleeve. The C housing has a "8607LH" on the metal shell, and the PCB board has injection protection.

8 wires are arranged in neat arrangement.

On both sides of the PCB board, there are black plastic fixators, and there is a chip in the middle. This is the E-Marker chip, and the periphery is protected by glue injection.

Needle head, left and right 5 groups, the middle two stitches empty. The only difference between the other end of the interface is that there is no E-Marker chip on the PCB board.

The other end interfaces to the back of the PCB board.

Cut off a small piece of plastic skin, you can see a lot of filaments made of shielding nets, the core is covered with a plastic film.

The plastic film is torn off, the inside is designed for the coaxial line, and the inner and outer two layers consist of a total of 17 cores. About the coaxial line charging head net has been done. Related introduction

The core is separated. The outer layer is made up of 9 different color cores, and the inner core is wrapped with tin foil.

Tearing the tin foil, there are 8 core and tensile fibers.

From left to right are: outermost plastic skin, plastic film, metal screen, tin foil shielding, data and power cord core, tensile fiber.

All the dismantling is finished.

Summary of charging head net disassembly

This Thunderbolt 3 (thunderbolt 3) double USB-C cable is very stout and strong, the two ends are flexural treated, and the interface is frosted to facilitate the insertion and removal. The detection of the charging head net using ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM001C shows that the power transmission capability is 20V/5A, and the data transmission capability reaches 40bps. The actual charging test shows that the cable supports 100W charging.

Through the dismantling of the charging head network, it is found that there is E-Marker chip on the PCB board at one end of the line, and the steel sleeve on the wire head is solidly welded. The PCB is covered with glue injection protection and the core solder joints are plump, and the whole production process level is online.
